Twinsburg Public Library is pleased to be selected as a partner library with Cracker Barrel's Rockin' Reading Program. Rockin’ Reader builds caring and literacy in the community by providing a comfortable space for volunteers to read with children. In the first year of the program, the volunteers at the partner schools contributed 16,400 hours of reading time with children. Now in its second year, Cracker Barrel is honored to have Rockin’ Reader partnerships with 225 elementary schools/libraries in 29 states. Cracker Barrel sent Twinsburg Library two double rocking chairs, a barrel bookshelf and books. Volunteers sign up for time-slot and read to children. If you would like to volunteer to read to our young patrons, please see a staff member in Children's Place. |
